Auberge at Oak Village and Brookfield

Project Overview 

IOC Construction recently partnered with Auberge at Oak Village and Auberge at Brookfield to complete extensive unit renovations paired with a fall detection lighting installation. The dual-scope project was designed to improve both resident safety and comfort, while also updating key finishes to create a refreshed, modern living environment. 

The unit renovations included flooring, cabinets, countertops, shower surrounds, plumbing, electrical upgrades, and painting, all completed in just three weeks. In parallel, our crew installed a comprehensive fall detection lighting system, upgrading over 500 lights and switches across both facilities in under two weeks. 

Project Highlights 

• Fast Turnaround: Unit renovations completed in three weeks, lighting completed in less than two weeks. 

• Safety & Comfort Upgrades: New flooring, cabinetry, plumbing, and electrical paired with state-of-the-art lighting designed for senior safety. 

• Operational Efficiency: Delivered 5 additional units at Oak Village and contracted 18 more units in Long Grove, maximizing the impact of project momentum. 

Overcoming Challenges 

As with any large-scale multi-unit project, scheduling and coordination were critical. Weather delays, power outages, and late material arrivals occasionally threatened progress. However, IOC teams adapted by resequencing work, sourcing alternative materials, and maintaining constant communication with property managers to stay on track. Our crews’ ability to complete up to 8 units per day ensured the timeline remained on schedule.
