Kitchen Upgrade for Designed Equipment Corporation
DEMOLITION | INTERIOR RENOVATION | PAINTING | FLOORING
IOC Construction recently completed a kitchen refresh at Designed Equipment Corporation, beginning with a focused scope and naturally evolving into a more comprehensive update. As the client’s vision expanded, our team remained flexible and responsive, ensuring each new element was addressed with care and professionalism.
Scope of Work
• Demolition of existing kitchen tile and vinyl baseboard
• Concrete floor grinding and polishing
• Wall and kitchen door painting
• Cabinet painting (added during the project)
Flexibility in a Growing Scope
As is often the case in renovation work, the client identified new opportunities for improvement once the project was underway. We worked quickly to price out, document, and execute these additions all while keeping the project timeline and quality standards top of mind.
Past Lessons, Proactive Planning
Having previously completed polished concrete work for this client, we approached the flooring with transparency—managing expectations around the natural variation and patchwork involved. The result matched their prior experience and our projections, with no surprises during installation.
Customer First, Every Step of the Way
We take pride in being a proactive partner. As the project expanded, we remained focused on supporting the client’s evolving vision—providing clear communication, timely change orders, and seamless coordination. Even amid design decisions still in motion, our team delivered a quality result and laid the groundwork for continued collaboration in the next phase.
