As Chief Operating Officer, Emily oversees day-to-day operational strategies, ensuring teams are well-aligned with our corporate goals and values. With over 12 years of experience in operational management and strategic development, her leadership style is characterized by a strong commitment to fostering a collaborative workplace with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Emily, originally from Upstate NY, holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a painting specialization from SUNY Cortland. After graduating, she started her career in marketing and design with CertaPro Painters in Gainesville, FL, where she quickly advanced to a sales management position. During that time, Emily was appointed Director Consultant for BNIWCF before moving to manage the residential division of a local CertaPro on the North Shore of Chicago. While at CertaPro she was awarded Midwest Residential Sales Associate of the Year and joined CertaPro's 200 Club.
In 2018, Emily joined IOC Construction and served as the General Manager of our painting division. With multiple industry certifications, she confidently led teams in optimizing processes for better productivity and customer satisfaction, thus contributing significantly to the company's growth. As COO, Emily remains committed to employee engagement and providing opportunities for good people, allowing teams to open doors for themselves as others have done for her.
At home, Emily proudly holds the title of CCG (Chief Cheese Grader), Sous Chef to James, and Mom to Lucy, the paint-can famous Pitbull. With family at the core of her purpose, long walks with Lu and Friday night kitchen dates keep her grounded and fueled to tackle life's next opportunity.
